Merry Lockdown Christmas
So that's almost it, I'm writing this in the early hours of Xmas Eve 2020 after a busy day and an exceptionally busy December.
Firstly I'd like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and I hope that you all enjoy the break! But I know many will also be working over the festive period. To you guys I thank you, I personally know what it's like having to miss the kids Christmas morning due to work. Having been a police officer previously for 16 years I missed quite a few, but please make the most of your time off and most of all stay safe.
I hope you guys that have ordered have not only received the gear fast but you like the products too.
It's been a strange year for everyone, I haven't been able to get over to Europe on my jollies err I mean buying stock. So all the deals have been done remotely and we have won and lost an even amount so I can't complain.
This year has been the surplus year of the Polish Lavvu, I've seen the wholesale price soar to more than 4x what they were at the start of the year, and although they are a great tent, the price of this surplus tent I feel has surpassed it's ceiling. It's been frustrating trying to buy these tents with supplies dwindling and a few other issues I won't go into.
So what's been the highlight of 2020 for me is having the time to organise the business. MM was founded 22 years ago by myself so we have a solid footing and literally warehouses of stock to rely on. But what we have lacked previously is organisation and inventory management. I hoped we have cracked this in 2020 and the website is now a live stock site but we still have so much more to put on.
So I hope in 2021 we can start to list the 1000s more products we have stacked in stillages in the warehouse and I look forward to taking the stall to the shows and festivals I've missed this year.
So again I hope you all have a great Christmas but if you are alone or feel down remember there will be days that you will enjoy in the future and if you need to speak to someone do it!!

Depression and mental health is not a failure it's just life, many have been there and still are including myself. If you know someone who is fighting the battle, please give them a call.

At age fifty-nine I’ve been keen on militaria for fifty years, now and my first bayonet purchase a first world War butcher m98 for fifty pence, I remember. So as the new year bells ring out it also chimes when I see military art prices!!!
Whilst I am not a ‘heavy volume’ purchaser from yourselves, I have bought things regularly over the last few years. Your customer service has always been outstanding and, personally, I always find your website one of the easier ones to navigate and use. So … if you’re going to be even better organised in the future, that augurs well for us customers! I’d like to thank all of the team and wish you well for the remainder of the holiday period and through into 2021. Even now in our more enlightened times, it takes courage to open up about mental health issues and to support others. I applaud you for doing so. Many thanks!!
Hey folks. Merry Christmas to you and yours and a happy new year.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THERE. Its been a while since I last visited, hopefully the coming year will change that. Have great Christmas and a brilliant new year, all the very best.Mac
