The Ex Dutch Army 57/4 Field Kitchen is a versatile cooking solution, painted in striking blue following its service in the Netherlands and subsequent use by the Dublin Civil Defence in Ireland.
This robust field kitchen features a main cooking unit that can be effortlessly detached from the trailer frame, while two removable prep tables and cupboards on each side provide additional workspace.
Originally manufactured by Progress-Werk Oberkirch AG between 1962 and 1968, the 57/4 model was primarily commissioned by the German government and utilized by the German armed forces and various auxiliary services. Remarkably, it continues to function effectively even after 40 years of dedicated service.
The 57/4 distinguishes itself with its ability to operate on solid fuels, liquid fuels (diesel), and gas. It includes a spacious 45-liter roasting pan and an 85-liter single-walled tea kettle, accompanied by two double-walled kettles with capacities of 70 and 90 liters, respectively.
